Several of the corners in the house have cracks, been repaired by Simmons with caulk, and cracked again. The tiled floors in our house are uneven; we submitted this to the warranty. Had 3 site supervisors over our build which did lead to some delays and lack of customer care. Overall we are pretty happy with our gorgeous new house. There were no unexpected price hikes and there hasn’t been too many issues along the way. The construction manager himself did not reach out to me, rather he got somebody called Cameron to call me regarding the roof tiling delay. Brad has a great eye for detail and was able to work with me when there were any issues or fixings that were required throughout the whole process. The only reason why I have given a review of 4/5 stars is mainly due to the Gallery process. As well as that whole process, I had to also change some of my tiles as the ones I wanted were out of stock. You have a great team, excellent customer service, value-for-money products, fast turn around timing, and good quality build. My service consultant and supervisor went over and beyond to make my experience a wonderful one. I can't wait to start my next project with Simonds Homes and the same team.
Since I only have 3758 characters left I won't be able to fit what kind of problems I've had with them. Ultimately, they build homes too fast, sacrifice quality for time and rarely are able to get a hold of regarding warranty issues. I have a cabinet that has yet to be fixed because neither the carpenter who is willing to fix it or I can get their warranty department on the phone. Our HVAC unit has gone out every season, and they still have not completely fixed it. Before you decide on Simmons Homes, please shop the market a little more. If they invested more time into making quality homes instead of parading around the fact they were on "Extreme Home Makeovers" they might actually have decent service.
